Thomas Cannon

Thomas is based in the Central New York market where he serves as a dedicated Wealth Advisor, specializing in developing holistic financial plans that align with his client’s goals to assist them in achieving financial independence.

Thomas has been a member of the greater Tompkins family since 2018, rising the ranks from teller to branch manager in Tompkins Community Bank to his current role as Wealth Advisor with Tompkins Financial Advisors. Thomas has been able to assist customers in their financial journeys and needs across a wide range of roles and is able to provide a uniquely holistic perspective having seen all sides of the customer experience.

Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in pre-counseling from Moody Bible Institute and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Post University. He is a board member of Cortland Loaves and Fishes, member of the Estate Planning Council of Tompkins County, and currently resides in Cortland, New York with his wife and two daughters.
